60 Would You Rather questions for couples, sorted into four levels from flirty to wild. Every one is a choice between two things you might genuinely want, so there is no trick answer and nobody is put on the spot. Read them to each other on date night, or play Would You Rather in the app and let it deal them for you.

How to play

One of you reads a question. The other picks a side and, more importantly, says why. Then swap. The choice takes two seconds; the reason is where you find out things about each other. Do not let anyone get away with "just because".

Flirty Gentle

Attraction, romance and a little tension. Nothing comes off and nothing is named, but it should still feel like two people who want each other.

Three ways to make it better

• Both answer. Read the question, count to three, and both say your pick at once. The ones where you differ are the conversation.
• Ask the follow-up. "Why that one?" is allowed every time. "Have you ever?" is allowed once a level.
• Make it real. Agree before you start that one answer per level becomes the plan for later. The person who answered chooses which.
