How to Play Lucky Dip
Lucky Dip is a game whose content is the other games. You put two or more of your favourites in the bowl, play a few turns of one, and the app draws the next. Nothing repeats until the bowl empties, and it refills for as long as you keep playing. It is the answer to the evening that stalls because nobody wants to be the one to say "shall we try something else?"

- Tap the Lucky Dip card in the picker
- Choose two or more games for the bowl. Only games your group can play are offered
- Tap Into the bowl. The first game is drawn and you play it as normal
- After four to six turns, a band appears: From the bowl, the next game
- Tap Let's go to switch, or Not yet to stay a little longer
Each game gets a random handful of turns rather than a fixed number, so the room cannot count down to the switch. Being surprised is the point of a bowl.
What goes in the bowl
Six games can be dipped: Temptation, Truth or Dare, Wild Spin, Never Have I Ever, Hot Seat and Would You Rather. They are the ones built around a turn, which is what the bowl counts. Games with their own flow, like Open Up and Power Play, stay out.
Why the evening keeps climbing
Switching games by hand usually means starting cold: the intensity dial reset, the room re-finding its level. Lucky Dip carries everything across. The intensity you are on, every player's limits, the modifiers you opted into and the nudge that offers a level up all keep their place. Twenty turns into a dip is one warmed-up evening rather than five cold starts.
Not yet
The draw is a band above the controls, not a pop-up, so the turn on screen is never swept away. A dare nobody has done yet stays until you are ready. Not yet clears the band, deals the current game a fresh handful of turns, and the draw comes back around later. The bowl is untouched, because the game it drew never left it.
The rules worth knowing
- An empty bowl refills with every chosen game except the one you just played, so nothing runs back to back. With two games in the bowl, they alternate
- Walking back to the picker ends the dip, the same as ending any game. A detour into Player settings does not
- Picking a game card by hand ends the dip too. A hand on a card is a decision about what to play
- The bowl needs at least two games

How many players does Lucky Dip need?
Two or more, and at least two games your group can play. The bowl only offers games the room qualifies for, by the same rules the picker uses.
Can I stay on a game I am enjoying?
Yes. Tap Not yet when the draw appears and the current game deals a fresh run of turns. The next draw comes around later.
Does the intensity reset when the game changes?
No. Intensity, limits and modifiers are shared across the whole evening, so a switch picks up exactly where the last game left off.
Can I put every game in the bowl?
Every game built around a turn, which is six of them. Open Up, Yes, No, Maybe, Power Play and the room games run their own flows and are played on their own.
