How to Play Roll for It
Roll for It is the sexy dice you can buy in a box, on your phone, with the levels and limits the rest of Spice Up has. Two dice: one says what to do, the other says where. A name card says who gets it. Tap Roll or shake the phone, read the dice out, and do it.
Roll tonightThe dice
- Where: six places. At Gentle, a neck, an earlobe, a jawline, lips, a collarbone and a hip. Each level has its own six, and Wild is somewhere else.
- Does: six verbs. At Gentle, kiss, brush lips, slow kiss, breathe on, stroke and barely touch. At Spicy, tongue, mouth on, hot breath, fingers, grind and spank.
Read together, a roll comes out like: "Alice kisses Bob's neck."
Loaded dice
The dice you can buy say lick, kiss, suck, blow, nibble and touch on one die and lips, neck, chest, navel, thigh and ear on the other, and they leave you to laugh off "nibble navel". Roll for It takes its words from the Who Does What deck, where every pairing was written down and read back before it went in, and it only ever lands on one of those pairings. Six verbs and six places make thirty-six combinations; the ones the deck lists are the ones that can come up, and the dice are loaded so the rest never do. The Dice sheet tells you how many of the thirty-six are live.
Who rolls, who gets it
Players take the roll in turn. The one who gets it is dealt from players compatible with the roller, using each player's gender and "interested in" settings, and never anyone marked "doesn't play with". With three or more players, the person who just rolled is not dealt straight back as the receiver.
Your own dice
Under Dice, each die has six slots per level, and every slot is a pick from the deck's words for that level. Put what you like on the faces. The box beside each verb lets you write your own word on its face: if the house word for a kiss is a smooch, the die says smooch. The sentence under the dice keeps the deck's own wording, so a renamed face changes what the die says and nothing about what is dealt.
Shake to roll
Under Dice, switch on Shake to roll. Shake the phone and the dice tumble. On an iPhone the phone asks once for permission to read its motion, and asks again on a fresh visit, because that is how iPhones work. Tap Roll always works too.
Limits
A place or a verb anyone has set a limit on never appears on the dice. Every roll can be passed, and Again rolls for the same pair.
