How to play with a group

Everyone holds up ten fingers. The reader says a statement starting "Never have I ever". Anyone who has done it puts a finger down, or takes a sip if you are playing the drinking version. The last person with a finger up wins, though most groups stop counting once the answers get interesting. Passing is always allowed, no reason needed.
