Spice Up › Yes, No, Maybe
Yes, No, Maybe
A private checklist for a night with one of you in charge. Each player answers alone, lead or follow first, then a list that runs mild to wild. You see only what overlaps, and a no is never shown to anyone.
How a round works
- The first player answers the roles question: Lead, Follow, or Either.
- Then the checklist, one item at a time, yes, maybe or no.
- Pass the phone face down. Nobody sees anyone else's answers.
- Once everyone has answered, the reveal shows the overlap and who leads.
What to expect
- Two or more players, passing one phone between them.
- Sixty-four items, sixteen at each of the four levels.
- Tap "Nothing past this" at any point and the rest is answered no, unseen.
- Answers stay on the device, so a regular pair is not asked all sixty-four again.
Yes, No, Maybe, answered
How does Yes, No, Maybe work?
Everyone answers the same checklist privately on one phone, then the app reveals only what you have in common. Anything you alone said yes to is never shown.
Is a no ever shown to the other person?
No. Only overlaps appear. Items where one said yes and the other maybe are flagged as worth talking about, and nothing else is revealed.
Do you have to read the whole list?
No. "Nothing past this" answers everything below as no without showing it, so a couple who are at Playful never have to read the Wild items.
What happens to the answers afterwards?
They stay on that device with that group, so you are not asked again every evening. Any player can forget theirs in Player settings, and nothing about them leaves the device.

Spice Up runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, and nothing you enter leaves your device. Each of you answers privately, from gentle to wild, and only what you both said yes to is shown. A compatibility check for couples and groups who want one of them leading.
